life begins with a whisper
a laugh, a smile, a touch
with care it grows
into something wonderful
life is love
i want so to live
living is so misunderstood
too often correlated with eating
drinking
using
working, earning, accumulating
it’s no wonder we are so
messed up
even the happiest
fall prey
to the plastic, the vacuous virtual
and some little voice
keeps whispering to us
there’s something wrong here
